Yoga Your mind and body is connected so when you feel down your energy levels are depleted, often you find a persons shoulders drawn in and forward, and head hanging low. Then, when happy and full of life a person’s body reflects this also. The images that flow through your mind cause your emotions and your emotions affect your body. Through yoga you can learn to control your thoughts and thus improve your everyday experiences. When a regular yoga practise is developed an individual moves beyond the physical state of being and moves into what is known as ‘Samadi’ – Ultimate consciousness. When a person relaxes rather than fights their way through an asana (seat/pose) they will receive those lovely ‘om’ sensations – a deep inner feeling of utter peace and harmony.
